As chairman of Princeton TMX, Steve assists strategic, technological and operational decisions, and he leads custom solution development and services. 

Steve is the co-founder and CEO of Princeton Consultants, www.princeton.com, which since 1981 has blended advanced analytics and data science with management consulting to help businesses achieve transformational improvement in service and efficiency. Princeton Consultants is a leading software developer for the transportation industry, with operational systems deployed at five Class I railroads; a leading private rail car owner and manager; truckload and LTL carriers; intermodal companies, 3PLs; and the world’s largest private airline.

Steve is the author of The Optimization Edge: Reinventing Decision Making to Maximize All Your Company's Assets (McGraw Hill), the first non-technical book to explain optimization to the busy business executive. For the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF), Steve is a board member and past co-chairman.  He represents Princeton Consultants in the INFORMS Roundtable, a group of top-level leaders in applied optimization for large businesses.  

Steve graduated from Princeton University and serves on the advisory council for its department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering (ORFE). 

Tim Minnich

Tim is leading the expansion and improvement of the suite of Princeton TMX solutions, making them easier to use, with even better functionality, savings and visibility.

In 2001, Tim helped create and served as president of TransWorks, a subsidiary of Norfolk Southern, where he launched our software to efficiently and effectively automate transportation management for shippers, and he has managed these solutions ever since.

Previously, Tim was chief financial officer of Triple Crown Services, the truckload and bi-modal transportation company, which he joined in 1989. Before that, Tim worked in accounting at North American Van Lines, where he began his Transportation career.

Tony manages business development for Princeton TMX, working with agribusiness, building products, chemicals, forest products, metals and packaging companies, as well as diverse manufacturers, to help them improve shipping processes and achieve key organizational objectives such as regionalization or centralization.

In partnering with our customers and ensuring successful implementation, Tony brings expertise in both software and multimodal transportation. He is experienced in supporting our solutions since 2003, when he joined TransWorks.

Jeff’s background is in Intermodal Truckload Operations. Jeff was with Triple Crown for 27 years, and the majority of that time was as the Director of Highway Operations.
